Crossroads 25th Marymas Fair takes place at the Northern Meeting Park Inverness on 18 June 2011 from 11am to 5pm.
The Marymas Medieval Fair Inverness will offer battle re-enactments, aerial acrobats, medieval plays, puppet shows. archery, paintball, medieval encampment, live music and dance, side shows, over 110 stalls, BBQ, tea tent.
The Medieval procession through city centre starts at 11am and the Crowning of Marymas Queen (a local school girl) by Inverness’s Provost will take place at 11.15am at the Town House. All participants are asked to dress up in traditional wear and are involved in the procession through Inverness.
Adults £4.50, OAP’s £3, Children FREE!
All profits from this event go to Crossroads (Inverness) Care Attendant Scheme providing free home-based respite care to families caring for individuals of any age and disability.
This will be the events 25th year and has become a popular event in Inverness with last year’s attendance over 3500 visitors and more than £15,000 raised.
